I believe I was a life guard working with Bernie in 1957 or 58. That Bernie also worked with sprinkler systems. looking at his picture I?m sure it is the same guy. At the end of the season he walked off with all the best beauty tips of the life guards at the Lido Beach Club Rockaway Beach L.I. There was an accomplice that may have been his brother. Since we were paid very little, the tips collected from the hotel seasonal guests, cabana guests and golf course guests were substantial. Many of us were depending on that money to defray college expenses. How low is this guy?
